At Kawamata Farms, quality comes first. Grown in Kamuela, Hawaii, our products are farmed using a state-of-the-art hydroponic system for an incredible flavor and consistent taste you can count on. Find Kawamata Farms products at your local grocery store or in many restaurants across the Hawaiian Islands. From our family to yours, we’re proud to grow Kamuela’s Finest™ tomatoes and cucumbers.
Grown from select seed varieties and pampered in the greenhouse, our tomatoes pack a flavorful punch. We offer several different types of tomatoes, from sweet grape to tomatoes on the vine, each with a unique taste and personality.
Our classic full-sized Kamuela Tomato. Ideal for slicing and incorporating into everything from sandwiches to main entrees. Firm with just the right amount of juice and crunch, zest and sweetness you want from a tomato.
On the Vine
Our Clamshell tomatoes on the vine. For those that like to bring a little piece of the garden into the kitchen. Tomatoes on the vine keep longer, for convenient use in your favorite recipes.
The life of the party, our cocktail tomato is about the size of a ping pong ball and bursting with juicy sweet and tangy tomato-y flavor. Skewer these babies up and grill them whole, enjoy them on salads, or as a delicious addition to sauces and stews.
Grape – coming soon!
“The smaller the tomato, the sweeter the flavor,” is what our lead grower likes to say about our grape tomatoes. About half the size of our cocktail cherry tomato, our grape tomatoes have an incredibly sweet taste. Perfectly snack-sized, our customers love to eat them by the handful or enjoy them as a salad topping.
We grow an English variety of cucumber, known for its thin skin and delicate, sweet flavor. Compared to your regular cucumber, it’s longer and thinner with dark green skin, and way more delicious! English cucumber varieties were specially bred to remove undesirable characteristics of regular cucumbers like thick waxy skin, large seeds, and tart flavor.
Enjoy our cucumbers sliced with your favorite dip, chopped in salads, or on their own as a refreshing treat with a satisfying crunch.
